of underserved children with habit success patterns needed to overcome social barriers that prohibit them from excelling in life across Africa including Zambia, South Africa, Burkina Faso and Zimbabwe.
Programs like Dr. Jack Pave-A- Dirt Court Drive provide self-help development by advancing progressive thinking among underserved communities. The thrust behind the model is motivating communities to contribute non-monetarily towards development of impactful sport structures that benefit them long term. Their goal is to teach communities what they are capable of, not what they are limited by. Sponsors Sharon and Jim O’Brien (NBA coach) supported the completion of a “proof of concept” basketball court at a rural school in Zimbabwe, named after Dr. Jack Ramsay
