Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) has renewed its partnership with WorldRemit for its 2019 South Africa edition. WorldRemit will join ZAA in recognising the diverse achievements of Zimbabweans following the recent launch of its digital money transfer service from South Africa to around 150 countries worldwide, including Zimbabwe.

ZAA highlights the successes and achievements of Zimbabweans and brings together business leaders and innovators from all sectors to celebrate, empower and network.
WorldRemit is a long-standing supporter of ZAA, having sponsored the UK, South Africa, USA and Australia editions last year.
ZAA International Chairman, Conrad Mwanza, welcomed the partnership and said he was pleased to be working with the company again to bring another fantastic awards event to South Africa in April.
“Zimbabwe Achievers has always been committed to strengthening Zimbabwean communities around the world and, together with WorldRemit, we are looking to further develop relations internationally and create a stronger network in Africa,” Mwanza said.
Using the WorldRemit app or website, Zimbabweans living in South Africa can send money home at any time with a few taps from their phones. WorldRemit’s low fees and exchange rates are shown up-front and senders can choose from a wide variety of convenient payout options including bank transfer, cash pick up and mobile money. The company offers instant cash pickup at over 250 locations in rural and urban areas of Zimbabwe – more than any other remittance service.
Andrew Stewart, Managing Director for Middle East and Africa at WorldRemit said, “We are proud to continue our support of Zimbabwe Achievers, and celebrate the diverse contributions of Zimbabwean businesses, communities and individuals.
“WorldRemit and Zimbabwe Achievers both strongly believe in the importance of community and diversity. Our convenient and fast online money transfer service enables the Zimbabwean diaspora and their recipients to connect more easily and spend more time on their passions and enterprises at home and abroad.”
