Zimbabwe Achievers Awards

The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (Z.A.A.) was founded in 2010 by Conrad Mwanza. Z.A.A. is the pinnacle of celebration of talent, art, business, expression and achievement in the Zimbabwean community throughout a very broad spectrum of genre, born out of a simple vision. The Z.A.A is a distinctly special awards ceremony seeking to recognise Zimbabweans who have pushed the limits against all odds to raise the Zimbabwean flag high and do both themselves and their fellow countrymen proud. The Z.A.A. has become one of the most important events in the African community.

Our Vision is to:

  • Recognise and reward the contributions of Zimbabweans to South Africa Community.
  • Celebrate the success of African Migrant contribution to South Africa
  • Highlight the positive contributions Zimbabweans make to South Africa
  • Create understanding and resonate national harmony by highlighting the positive aspects and impacts of multiculturalism
  • Highlight the collective migrant spirit in South Africa, and celebrate and its diversity

Conrad Mwanza – ZAA Int Chairman

Conrad is Founder and Director of CMG International Media Group, a events lead Multi Media Organisation that has interest in Magazine publishing, TV, Advertising and Marketing Agency among other. Popular brands under the CMG House include Zimbabwe Achievers Awards International, Zim Abroad Magazine, The African Diaspora Magazine. CMG has offices in UK, South Africa, Australia and the US.

Bridgette Mudhosi – ZAA SA Country Director

Bridgette has a Diploma in Education from Morgenster Teachers Group and a degree in Special Needs Education from Unisa. She explored the private business sector where her skills and potential were quickly identified by the Former CEO of MED SA who introduced her to the world of project scouting and development. She then facilitated in the launching and opening of MED in Zimbabwe. Due to her immaculate achievements she was approached by the then ANC WESTERN CAPE Chairman Mr. Marius Fransman to assist with different projects. She is still involved with project scouting, and has introduced quite a number of companies into the Zimbabwe,South Africa, Malawi,Zambia and Democratic republic of Congo market. These include Instacom Malaysia, Siyathembana Trading,Vietcomltd,Unisoy  to name but a few. She is also a renowned Small and Medium Enterprises Enterprenuer owning a bedding store in the Western Cape and The first Zimbabwean dishes serving restaurant in Seapoint area Capetown.Bridgette has been involved with the Zimbabwe achivers awards from the launch 2014.Was more involved 2016 as she was part of committee that organized the successful Zimbabwe achivers awards South Africa Edition 2016.Bridgette sat on the judge’s panel for 3rd edition Capetown Excellence awards 2017.

Lawrence Dube –  ZAA Head Panelist  

A passionate marketing and communications practitioner with over 10 years working experience. His  experience ranges from marketing and PR, shopping mall marketing (5 years) , event management (10 years) television presenting (6 years),sales and hospitality. Lawrence is a highly sought after events Master of Ceremony and events consultant.

He is at the employ of Wits Business School and also leads a marketing and personal communications company Word Wealth Consulting.  Lawrence  has been part of the ZAA-SA team since inception as a panel coordinator and past Country Director.
